Wallonia offers a supercomputer to its companies
Wallonia is getting a computer Rolls, a machine that specialists call a supercomputer. Based in Charleroi, the facility will serve industrial research. As the heart of the industrial ecosystem in Charleroi and Wallonia, the objective of the A6K center supported by Sambrinvest is to consolidate industrial tools for companies and to become a one-stop-shop for industrialists and SMEs. Eventually, it will be a 20k sqm dedicated to research and innovation with a series of advanced technological tools such as a prototyping workshop, the ULB Fablab (Fab-C, FabLab Charleroi Métropole) and soon: the Walloon supercomputer!
